I’ve written a story like this twice as of late.

Everybody and their mother bet Texas Tech against BYU in the Big XII Championship. Same for Indiana against Oregon in the Peach Bowl. Both favorites rolled.

The song remains the same for the 15-0 Hoosiers, who are shaping up to be the most public national title game favorite since 2019 LSU with Joe Burrow. If you weren’t sold on Indiana heading into the Big Ten Championship, you are now. They smothered Ohio State 13-10, then railroaded Alabama 38-3 and pummeled Oregon 56-22.

Most sportsbooks will be rooting for Miami come Monday night.

🎙 Vegas Voices
“We actually need Indiana bigly,” Westgate SuperBook VP John Murray countered. “Just to win the game, though. We’re buried on Miami futures at big prices. Not great.

What about the point spread?

“The public is heavy on Indiana of course,” Murray added.

Of course.

“It’s all Indiana over here,” another bookmaker reported. “We’ve got a 6-1 ticket count on Indiana. They’re betting those guys like they have Tuesday’s paper.”

“I need Miami personally for a 20/1 future,” Wynn Resorts bookmaker Motoi Pearson told me. “Not sure I really like it anymore. But I dare.”

My favorite quote on Monday’s title game comes from a really sharp cat who used to book bets in Vegas and now resides on the other side of the counter.

“I don’t know how I’m gonna get away from a Miami bet, but I hope I do.”

🦬 Bills Mafia!
Déjà vu, anybody? Here we are again with an overrated home team standing in the way of all our Bills futures. I’ll keep Josh Allen, you can have Bo Nix. Remember, this newsletter dropped two separate title bets on the Bills. Please keep us proud.

🥶 Frozen Stafford
While some believe the Bears are a team of destiny, there’s no ignoring how pitiful Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford has played in the elements. Stafford is 1-9 SU in his last 10 games in rain or snow while the Rams are 2-8 in their last 10 in Chicago.

Temperatures will feel like 2º at Soldier Field.

Brrr.

BigDog315 left us a five-star review:

“When you teach a man to fish, he can eat forever. You guys always talk about entry points and timing as well as explain how the market reacts to things. Best insights on future and overall market views in the space.”

Thanks, BigDog.
