The Indiana Hoosiers have officially crashed the party.
A 35-point demolition of big, bad Alabama in the Rose Bowl has turned Indiana into America’s newest obsession. Bettors are lining up to bet the Hoosiers all over Las Vegas ahead of Friday night’s national semifinal matchup against the Oregon Ducks.
Thing is, the line is drifting toward the Ducks.

“We’ll need Oregon,” Westgate SuperBook VP John Murray said on Thursday’s episode of Chicken Dinner.
“Indiana is getting all the flowers right now. Everybody likes Indiana. They look awesome and [Curt] Cignetti has done maybe the best coaching job I’ve ever seen in any sport the last two seasons.
“The ticket count and money is very lopsided to Indiana. Moneyline parlays. Straight bets. The point spread tickets are over 3-to-1 on Indiana. But you’ve still seen the line go from 4 to 3.5 on Oregon despite the public being on the other side.
“We’ll be rooting for Oregon.”
Wynn Resorts bookmaker Motoi Pearson says his true number is Indiana -2 while another former Vegas oddsmaker makes the game almost a coin flip.
To the NFL, one respected bettor blasted the Eagles at multiple numbers. Philadelphia opened at -3.5 and has been bet as high as -5.5 in market.
“I would’ve laid a small fortune on 3,” the bettor told me. “They opened just above it. The Eagles didn’t prioritize the regular season. The Niners scratched and clawed for every yard. Philly’s line play is the key.”
